The center of this Toxic Plume is located approximately 25 miles northwest of Anderson, South Carolina. This plume is produced by 3 reactors located at the Oconee Nuclear Power Plant site. The reactors that produce this plume have 2,538 Mega Watts of radiation generating power. There is a total of 1,283 tons of Highly Toxic Radioactive spent fuel stored at this Nuclear Power Plant. During water transfer for a spent fuel pool a valve was left open and the spent fuel pool lost 10,000 gallons of water. The spent fuel was never uncovered but no one mentioned where the 10,000 gallons of radioactive water went. If it was only "The Trouble with Tribbles" instead it is "The Trouble with Tritium" and the caviler attitude of Nuclear Power Plant operators dumping the Radioactive material into America's drinking water. Thanks Oconee Nuclear Power Plant.
